Traditional foster care programs protect a child until they are 18 years of age. The Administration for Children\u00a0and\u00a0Families estimates around 20,000 youth\u00a0are exiting foster\u00a0care\u00a0or \u201caging out\u201d annually\u00a0without a permanent home.\u00a0<\/span>Heart of Adoptions Alliance<\/span><\/a>\u00a0can\u00a0ensure they are\u00a0aware of\u00a0the\u00a0tools and resources\u00a0available to help them gain adult independence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
